Atwater Idol is an annual talent show sponsored by the Atwater Parent Teacher Organization. Acts audition a few days before the event and must be no longer than two minutes. The performer(s) provide their own music.

Lewis said the two are just naturally talented.

“They are both such performers,” she said. “Asharie won second place in a national pageant in Middleton, WI at the age of four.”

Her brother, Andrew, who turned five March 20, is a performer as well.

“Andrew teaches himself all these dance moves from watching MTV’s "America’s Best Dance Crew. "He does it all by himself. He pop-locks and does hand stands and sings, too.”

Their winning number was captured by Lewis on video, complete with Asharie's vocals and Andrew's killer dance moves.
