About Jenny

Jenny Steinman Heyden is a Shorewood native who has returned to the Village with her family.  She has a multidisciplinary background that ranges from academic degrees in German Literature and Nonprofit Management, to a professional career of running her own Chicago art studio and teaching for fifteen years.  The move back to Shorewood to raise children, go to graduate school,  continue her art career and launch a new nonprofit consulting business, and meet old friends and new has caused a flurry of connections from the past to the present.  She shares these Shorewood layers of mirth, understanding and inside scoop with you in this column.

Jenny! What a great article on "Min's" beautiful new store on Oakland. Everything in the place is lovely. I'm glad you got to meet her, and to see this charming new feature of Shorewood.
