Rory grew up in Shorewood and first got excited about journalism as the editor of Shorewood High School’s student newspaper, Shorewood Ripples. She went on to study journalism at UW-Madison, where she covered campus news for the Daily Cardinal, became the editor of Street Pulse, and wrote for the Madison Commons Project. Rory is now living in Shorewood and freelancing for Patch sites in the Milwaukee area.
