About Lyle

I have always been interested in politics and in particular social justice. I began my involvement during the 1960s civil rights movement. Since retirement I have focused on reasearching and writing about social philosophy, moral and ethical development and the source and evolvement of American beliefs and values. I enjoy nothing better than a lively dialog between special interests. I consider myself slightly left of center and a strong advocate of social representative democracies.

Hey Lyle -

I thought you might be interested in my latest Retro Cinema Club feature, 'Country' (1984), which looks back on the Reagan-era mid-western family farm crisis of the early and mid '80's! The film actually takes a very liberal position towards many of Reagan's FmHA policies that effected many mid-western family farmers.

It can be found here:

Lyle,
Re: Comments about Nate by Al
Al is actually a guy with a serious mental illness named Brian. He has been arrested for gun related violence and is on the edge.
Just an FYI because I think he could become dangerous.
