Joe, Thanks for the additional source. I don't have any argument with teacher's salaries, they deserve what they receive and I appreciate the folks willing to be teachers. The only part I'm for is having them contribute and/or contribute a little bit more for their health insurance and pensions. With the incredible increase in health care and insurance it would be nice to have them help the taxpayers. I also support performance based raises (or however they'd do that) because while some teachers do amazing work, others perhaps would be better in a different profession. Also, I liked your message about the referendum compared to a mortgage. Thanks again for the source, sorry if I come across as being against teachers, I certainly am not.
