Village, School Board Seats Up for Re-election in Spring Elections

Three School Board and two Village Board seats are up for re-election on the April 2 ballot. Candidates can circulate nomination papers, and the deadline to file is Jan. 2.

It will soon be time to think elections again as the spring cycle approaches.  Three School Board and two Village Board seats are up for re-election on the April 2 ballot. Candidates can circulate nomination papers, and the deadline to file is Jan. 2. If more than two challengers emerge for an open seat, a primary would be held Feb. 19. School Board President Rob Reinhoffer and Vice President Colin Plese's seats are up for grabs up April. Reinhoffer told Patch he plans to run to retain his seat on the board.  A seat vacated by Michael Mishlove will also be on the ballot. That seat is set to be filled by a board-appointed member.
