It's about that time of year when families go on the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree. There's nothing like picking out a fresh Christmas tree. Some families like to make a day of it, trekking across acres of spruces, firs and pines with a hot cup of cider. Others prefer the convenience of a nearby parking lot sale. While Kellners Greenhouse is technically in Milwaukee and not within the southern border of the north shore, I found a really nice tree and a beautiful door wreath there last year. If I can't get out of the city to cut one down, I'll go back for a tree this year-- it's close and it's local. more ›
