The tenth annual event, organized by SEED, features local music, dinner by Bartolotta's, and is all aimed at supporting Shorewood schools.
RSVP by Friday to jam with local blues-soul-funk-hip-hop quartet Tweed Funk while supporting Shorewood schools March 16, at Swing with Shorewood. The tenth annual event, organized by SEED (Supporters of Excellence in Educational Development), will be held at Pier Wisconsin, 500 N. Harbor Dr. The SEED Foundation has raised more than $1 million since its inception in 2003 — $675,000 from the Swing with Shorewood event over the years. The funds go to the district to help teachers and schools implement new academic curriculum and safety programs, purchase new computers and other classroom equipment, among other things.
