With a win over the hated purple rivals, the Packers can earn a bye in the first round of the NFL playoffs, and guarantee a home game.
The Green Bay Packers can clinch the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs by defeating the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon. The game has been moved to 3:25 p.m. from the original noon start, and will be broadcast locally on FOX 6. A team that has won nine of its last 10 games is expected to welcome back wide receiver Jordy Nelson from a hamstring injury, but now fellow receiver Randall Cobb did not practice Wednesday or Thursday after injuring his ankle last week. Charles Woodson also has been ruled out, though he is expected back for the playoffs. The Blue Dukes will advance to the final round of regionals on Saturday with a home game against Brown Deer; young Shorewood team looks forward to potential of next year's squad.

Elisabeth Johnston and Maya Jonas led the way for the Dukes with 11 points apiece, and Grace Hayes picked up five points for the Greyhounds. Dukes head coach Greg Capper said …

With a trip to the WIAA boys volleyball state tournament on the line, the Wauwatosa Red Raiders met the Shorewood Greyhounds Thursday night in sectional finals at Brookfield East High School. The scrappy Greyhounds would go up early, but battling back was Tosa East taking a close first game after being down 25-24 late. Shorewood would take a second game 25-19 to tie it at a game apiece. Tosa East would respond by taking a third game 25-16, but it all came down to a fourth game, which see-sawed. Down by several points late, the Greyhounds battled back to tie it at 25 but couldn’t pull out the upset. The Red Raiders would secure the trip to the state tournament and WIAA Sectional Championship trophy with a 30-28 win in game four. Your final …
