Police Report: Shorewood Man Battered with Wrench, Rake

A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police log.

Charges are being recommended against three Milwaukee men after they punched and beat a Shorewood man with a wrench and rake Sunday night. The incident occurred at 9 p.m. Police say the men, aged 23, 18 and 18, knew the victim and drove to Shorewood with the intention of assaulting him. The victim was transported to Froedtert Hospital to treat face, head and back injuries. The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office is reviewing charges against the three.  Also in the police report:

Police Report: Stolen Car; Man Punches Woman while She Waits at Bus Stop

A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police log.

A 2007 blue Hyundai Santa Fe SUV was reported stolen sometime overnight on Thursday, while parked on the street in the 3600 block of North Maryland Avenue. The owner told police she believes the car was locked at the time and the keys were in her possession. Police are still working to retrieve the stolen car. In other police news:

Shorewood Woman Assaulted, Told to Hand Over Cash Outside Capitol Drive Apartment

Police say a man pushed a Shorewood woman to the ground in the rear of an East Capitol Drive apartment building July 25, before demanding she hand over money.

A Shorewood woman says a man pushed her to the ground before demanding money in an attempted strong-arm robbery July 25. According to the police report, at 8:30 p.m., the victim was in the rear of an apartment building in the 1300 block of East Capitol Drive when the man approached her, pushed her to the ground and demanded she give him money. The robber ended up fleeing the scene without any money. The victim sustained minor injuries to her hands, forearms and face.

Police Report: Local Man Overdoses on Heroin; Punch Thrown after Heated Political Discussion

It wouldn’t be the first time a conversation about politics turned sour. A Shorewood man learned that the hard way Thursday after leaving Shorewood’s Legion Post, 4121 N. Wilson Dr., around 11:47 p.m. and fielding a punch to the face from the man he got into a heated political discussion with. The victim sustained a small cut near his right eye, but refused medical attention or to file a formal complaint. Also in the police report:

Shorewood Man Using Craigslist to Find Suspects in Attempted Assault Incident

Victim told police he punched a man in the face after two suspects nearly hit him with their car, threatened to rape his wife and told him they were carrying guns.

A Shorewood man is utilizing Craigslist to solicit help in finding two men he claims threatened and attempted to assault him on Friday. The man says after an altercation near the intersection of East Lake Bluff and North Oakland Avenue at about 4 p.m., the suspects followed him to his home and threatened to "rape your wife" and "kill everyone in the house." According to police and the Craigslist posting, the victim was attempting to legally cross Lake Bluff Avenue southbound, when two men in a large black BMW sedan nearly struck him. He gave the men a glare, and both the driver and passenger rolled down their window and yelled threats and insults at him. Police Report: Shorewood Teen Arrested after Assaulting Girl, Looking Through Her Phone

A 18-year-old Shorewood man was arrested Friday for disorderly conduct after police say he pushed a girl to the ground in the Shorewood High School parking lot, 1701 E. Capitol Dr., and held her down while he looked through her cell phone. The incident occurred about noon and the victim wasn’t injured. Police say the suspect was the girl’s ex-boyfriend. Shorewood Man Charged after Biting Girlfriend's Hand, Stealing Her Car

Argument over who should drive the victim's SUV to the mall resulted in the suspect allegedly assaulting the victim at a Milwaukee gas station.

A Shorewood man is facing charges after he allegedly bit his ex-girlfriend’s finger after a disagreement over who should drive her SUV to Mayfair Mall. Mario L. Rivera was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and one count of battery. If convicted, he faces up to nearly seven years in prison and $20,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Dec. 4, the victim was with Rivera after spending the night at his home when he decided he wanted to go meet some friends at Mayfair. He insisted he drive them to the mall using the victim’s SUV. While on their way, the couple got into an argument and Rivera abruptly exited the freeway at East Keefe Avenue. …

Police Report: Shorewood Man Sustains Minor Injury after Wrestling with Knife-Wielding Friend

A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police reports.

A Shorewood man says he sustained a small cut to this hand after his friend, a 33-year-old Greendale man, wrestled him to the ground while holding a knife, according to the police report. When police arrived at the apartment in the 4200 block of North Oakland Avenue on Saturday, the suspect had already fled on foot along with a 23-year-old Milwaukee woman. The victim told police the two were on methadone and the Greendale man had missed his dose that morning. Police were unable to locate the two. The Milwaukee woman has open warrants for contempt of court and retail theft. In other police news:

Police Report: SHS Student Breaks Bones in Teen's Face with Punch

A Shorewood High School student was suspended from school after he punched another teenager Monday, breaking two bones in the victim’s face. Police say the assault occurred outside the Performing Arts Building on the high school campus, 1701 E. Capitol Dr., a little after 7 p.m. A police investigation is ongoing. The students involved were not 220 students. like most other schools there are teenage boys with pent up anger at Shorewood, and that doesn't mean they have neurological issues. AND It had nothing to do with where the students lived... You shouldn't assume when something bad happens at shorewood that it must have been the milwaukee kids....There are plenty of shorewood kids causing trouble....   more ›

Police Report: Concerned Mom Phones Police to Report Drug Dealers Harassing Her Daughter

A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police reports.

A concerned mother called police Monday saying her 20-year-old daughter had called her four times asking for money because drug dealers were at her Shorewood home demanding cash. Police ran the daughter’s information after arriving at her home in the 8000 of East Kensington Boulevard, revealing a warrant for her arrest for violating probation. She was transported to Milwaukee County Jail. Police say there were no drug dealers on the scene when they arrived. Also in the police report:
