It's time for change in Shorewood. GET OUT & VOTE FOR ZARMI.

Trustee Jeff Hanewall needs to say BYE, BYE.
You are a YES MAN to developers telling you how $$ money they want and your friends/associates who seek handouts to start businesses or keep them afloat.
Ie..$200,000 given to Harley's to pay for their move a few blocks down, remodel, cover their rent.
$35,000 low interest loan for Open Book Store that presented itself to the public as a CO-OP. Failed miserably after only ~7 months in business, Never formed an official CO-OP until publicly vilified in numerous media outlets- VILLAGE BOARD DROPPED THE BALL on that one or NEVER BOTHERED to do their homework.
$35,000 loan has not be repaid.
Let's not forget about the $200,000 YOU GAVE TO SENDIK'S on top of a $150,000 low interest loan THAT THE PUBLIC FOUND OUT AFTER THE FACT.
Oh wait, how about the $150,000 you GAVE to North Star Bistro so they could MOVE ACROSS THE STREET.
BTW, What about the $10,300,000 TIF that has been recommended for "future developments" on Oakland Ave? How did you come to that number. Where were the meetings with village residents to present plans/discuss developments/seek their input?
Oh, that's not how it currently works in Shorewood. Everything is done behind the scenes and the residents find out what they are in for after it's published in the paper.
Just like what happened with Mandel's new development.

It's time to say GOODBYE to TRUSTEE HANEWALL and HELLO to AVNER ZARMI

Hanewall has long outlived his usefulness on the Board --- and Nation is delusional or thinks we are, as he seems to want to take full credit for Darling and the legislature helping Shorewood out of the tax mess that it made itself ......... I guess that is why Nation gets good money to Spin Stories for politicians --- we don't need a PR guy, we need someone who does the WALK not the TALK!

I will cast one vote for Zarmi, which will be comparable to two votes ( or one and a half) as it will not be diluted with a vote for one of the lackluster incumbents.
