I have been a client of Elif for several years and could not be happier for her when she opened Zen. The atmosphere is relaxing yet fun and welcoming. I have never left the salon unsatisfied and am 100% confident saying do what you think looks best. Elif and her staff are all great and I recomend anyone, male or female, to go to Zen, you won't regret it.

Shandon does an amazing job! She listens to what you want and lets her creativity do the work. She is very cautious and double checks to make sure that you want a drastic change. She explains how your hair will look, what it will do, etc. I constantly need a fresh new look so I will continue going to her for my future hair changes!
Shandon is also the most gentle hair stylist that I've ever been to. You can barely feel her taking out foils, blow drying your hair, etc. which to me is a plus. I hate getting my hair pulled when going to a salon! She gives a great massage when shampooing - she really spoils the customer.. and who doesn't want that?!

Personal, professional, and fun!!! I have returned to Zen a number of times now and always been over joyed with the results. Many hair stylists take mens hair light heatedly and the results reflect this, but the cost doesn't. I have used Shandon at Zen every time now and always been impressed with the results and the reasonable price.

I had the pleasure of having my hair shampooed and head massaged, then conditioner; hair cuts and color and have had Kendra as my hair dresser. She is pleasant, kind and a real professional. I was always pleased with the results. I will go back and often, the prices are competitive and it's well located in Shorewood right on Oakland.
