Milestones not only provided early childhood, summer, and after school care for my son for many years, it also helped me become a better parent. We were new to the area when my son started attending Milestones Plymouth Church at age 3, and it was comforting to know he was spending his days learning so many things in a wonderful place, and as it turned out, making friendships that have lasted his lifetime (he's 18 now). I believe I have Milestones Early Childhood Program (under the direction of Kathy Wiarek) in large part to thank for the confident, level-headed, perceptive young man my son has become. I can't recommend Milestones highly enough!

Milestones is hands down, the very best center for children and their families in our area. Their commitment to best practices - not convenient, not the most cost-effective, but what has proven to be best for children in their formative years is demonstrated in the professional approach taken by the staff, their impressive child-centered, play based philosophy and the tireless care they offer the kids and the families at their centers.

I grew up going to Milestones, from before I can remember, all the way through fifth grade. I made life long friends and always looked forward to going back each summer to pick up right where we left off. When I see these friends today, we still reminisce about the games we played, the teachers we loved, the lessons we learned, and the field trips we took. I believe I am a stronger, more independent, caring, and fun loving person because of the experiences I had at Milestones. Thank you, Milestones!

At least one of our children has attended the Milestones Early Childhood program at Plymouth Church for the last 8 years and we think the world of the director Kathy Wiarek and the program she runs. The teachers are amazing and have taught our children so much. They show our family so much love and respect. I could go on and on about how great they are. The care has exceeded our every expectation. Just yesterday, my 5 year old who is the K4 program told me he would like to visit Paris to see Claude Monet's art that he learned about at school today and then proceeded to tell my about Picaso's blue period and that Van Gogh only sold one piece of art before he died. Then he told me about playing legos with his friends, painting and drawing at the rainbow table, playing outside in the mud and running in the gym and overall had a great time being a kid, all while being exposed to classic art work, stretching his imagination, learning his letters and learning to be a good friend and a caring classmate. I only wish my children could stay at Milestones for more than 5 years!

Milestones has provided a very high level of quality care for many, many years. They have a great history and reputation - and constantly seek to improve the services they provide - always with the well-being and growth of the children in mind. I am always impressed with the efforts of this organization in the community.

My children both attend the Indian Hill location. My son is in the early childhood program and receives warm and wonderful care from the program. All of the staff at Milestones are professional and wonderful influences on our children. Camp M summer camp is the best around. My daughter cannot wait to see her friends from summer camp again and participate in all of the offerings in the program.

In addition to running fantastic after school programs, the Camp M summer camp is an amazing way for your child to truly experience summer. From water parks, to Brewer Games, to camp outs, my children look forward to this every year.

My son (now 4.5) has gone to Indian Hills location for 2.5 years. I love the daily communication, the low turnover, and the care each teacher shows for my son. Milestones' focus on creativity and fun-based learning make this perfect for my young child.

Milestones at Indian Hill is a terrific program and our 8 year loves it. The teachers are warm, caring and thoughtful. Education and creativity are just part of the curriculum and the environment is great!

I have been lucky to have my two children attend the Indian Hill location of Milestones. I have appreciated the professionalism of the staff, the warmth of the environments and the thought and effort that goes into making the curriculum fun, age appropriate and ever changing. My daughter left the program fully ready for Kindergarten, eager to learn and with a solid foundation. My children will carry the love and care they received for the rest of their lives. I could not go to work without knowing my children were safe, loved and well cared for.

I couldn't ask for more in child care than what Milestones provides for my kids. Both of our kids attend the afterschool program at Indian Hill and they love it. They look forward to going every day and don't want to leave when we pick them up! The Milestones staff make an honest effort to know the temperament, likes and dislikes, health, interests, and behavior of kids who attend their programs. They also care about the family's own values and emotional needs. Our family is still growing and I look forward to many more years with Milestones.

Milestones is fabulous--from the early childhood programs providing day care for working parents, to the full-day K4 program that had my children beginning to read, to the after-school programs at schools throughout the North Shore, and to the great summer day-camp. Many teachers have been with the nonprofit organization for fifteen or twenty years, providing continuity for families and sharing their vast experience. And they love caring for children. They are professionals at what they do and view their roles as partners with parents in the education and care of children.

As a parent, I was impressed with the quality of the staff, the low turnover rate, the hours for before and after school care, the genuine care for my child's well-being and development. My child only cared about how much fun she had and the friends she made! We both truly loved Michelle and the crew at Atwater; they made a real difference in our lives! My daughter is in high school now . . . we miss Milestones!

We feel so lucky to have found such high quality child care. Our kids both went to Lydell in WFB and then we moved to the Plymouth location for their Outstanding full day K-4 program. I appreciate the low teacher turnover and dedication by the entire staff. Next year we will have both kids in the Milestones afterschool program at Atwater and look forward to many more fun years.

Our son is at the Lydell location and we love it! We were with another center prior to Milestones and Milestones care is far superior. They truly offer the highest quality childcare-they teach independence from very early ages and everything has a lesson. Our son looks forward to seeing what's in the sensory table every day!

All three of our children attended there since they were very young. The have quality, loving, educated caregivers who exposed our children to experiences they wouldn't have had with two working parents. I am forever grateful to them all!
