Did you Know? Every time we do a Reception with new folks, we learn something new about this 1.59 mile square Village. Last night, a couple from Brewer's Hill stopped in at the Brewing Co. and offered these two factoids:
1. We have the only Blockbuster for miles, which offers season combos for .99.
2. The Sendik's on Oakland (aka Shorewood Sendik's) is recommended by other grocers (Groppi's, another Sendik's) for having the only aged dried beef for miles.
Schedule of Upcoming Free Meet 'n Greets (Free and Open to the Public - grab a new neighbor or come solo and meet new people). Rachel Vesco from the School District of Shorewood will be on hand to answer questions about registration, fees, online school features and upcoming events.

- 10/17/13: Thursday, October 17, 2013 WNN Reception 6:00 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Big Bay Brewing Company"Oktoberfest."
Last night's New Neighbor Meet 'n Greet at Big Bay Brewing Co. had a celebrity couple! (not just the Village President, the Library Director, the Shorewood Connects Director, and the School District PR coordinator). It was Shorewood's very own Miranda K Levy and beau Michael Adler. Miranda is a fierce contestant on the current season of Project Runway! Check out her Home Visit Presentation on the Show, which features Shorewood, WI!
