Welcome, New Neighbors! Have you recently moved to Shorewood? This is for you! The new program, Welcome New Neighbors (WNN) is launching a new concept - public meet 'n greets geared towards welcoming you in a larger setting than a one-on-one with me, giving you the opportunity to meet others, have a snack, enjoy a discount (15%), and pick up a WNN goodie bag (courtesy of the Conservation Committee - thank you!) filled with items to help orient you to Shorewood - from voting wards to frozen custard. There are some awesome things in that bag, let me tell you.
All are invited to this free reception tonight, Thursday, June 27th from 6-8pm at the Waxwing, geared towards making new residents feel welcome, and for us regulars to share current village information with all. Come, Shorewoodians, share refreshments, advice and "I remember when's" with new movers who haven't heard the stories!
Meet new neighbors and chat about Shorewood while I share new brochures (like the "10 Trees Tour"), help you register for important things, and hear your questions, as we develop this Welcome New Neighbors program together.
