Q-Ticles Customers Donate $760 to Educational Foundation

The Capitol Drive nail salon encouraged donations through a raffle that gave away $300 in gift certificates.

In celebration of their second anniversary, Q-ticles nail spa held its second annual raffle supporting the Shorewood SEED educational foundation.

Seventy-six Q-ticles customers gave a $10 SEED donation to enter the raffle. The first place winner, Cassandra Phillips, won a $100 gift certificate to Q-ticles. The second, third, fourth and fifth place winners all received a $50 gift certificate to Q-ticles. Those recipients are Tracy Junker, Lana Cramer, Jenny Quadracci and Isabella Nassif.

The $760 donation total is an increase over the $550 that was collected for SEED last year. Q-ticles owner Quan Vu said the raffle is a way of thanking the community for two years of business success.

"Everyone in Shorewood supports, so we do our best to give back to the community," he said.
