Here's a list of the top events slated for this summer in Shorewood, along with some of the Milwaukee area's biggest parties.

Summer is nearly here, and you know what that means. Barbecues, festivals and outdoor fun.

Here's a quick preview of things to do in Shorewood (as well as the largest parties in the Milwaukee area) that's bound to have you thinking of warmer days.

JULY


July 13 — Shorewood High School alumni and community picnic, Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Dr., 11 a.m.

July 17 — Summer Sounds Concert Series (Trio de Janeiro), Hubbard Park, 6 p.m.

July 24 — Summer Sounds Concert Series (Southern Tradition), Hubbard Park, 6 p.m.

July 24 — Shorewood Public Library Summer Celebration, Shorewood Public Library, 3920 N. Murray Ave., 6 p.m.

July 27 — Shorewood Gardens Tour, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. July 31 — Summer Sounds Concert Series (The Gleasons), Hubbard Park, 6 p.m.


AUGUST

August 1-11 — Wisconsin State Fair, state fair grounds

August 7 — Summer Sounds Concert Series (Tweed Funk), Hubbard Park, 6 p.m.

August 8 — National Night Out, Shorewood Public Library, 4:30-7:30 p.m. 

August 10 — FAB Atwater Beach Party

August 14 — Summer Sounds Concert Series (Mood Swing Orchestra), Hubbard Park, 6 p.m.

August 30-September 2 — Kickoff celebrations for the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary, HD Museum downtown and throughout the area.


SEPTEMBER

September 19-21 — Plein Air Art Event
