Free Concert Series Starts Wednesday

The 5 Card Studs will kick off the weekly Summer Sounds concert series in Hubbard Park.

The Summer Sounds concert series kicks off in Hubbard Park Wednesday night with retro lounge music from The 5 Card Studs.

The 5 Card Studs take the stage for a free outdoor concert from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Enjoy their unique blend of big-time Las Vegas attitude and ‘70s TV game show schmaltz, all glossed over with a washed-up lounge singer veneer. Up-and-coming singer/songwriter Katie LaFond will open the show.

The Summer Sounds concert series will continue every Wednesday night through August 14 at the same time period. Summer picnic food and beverages will be for sale from the award-winning Hubbard Park Lodge. A limited amount of picnic tables are available, so please bring a lawn chair or blanket. In the event of rain, concerts will be held inside the Hubbard Park Lodge.

Here's the full musical line-up for the Summer Sounds series:

July 10: 5 Card Studs with opening act, Katie LaFond
