Classic Country in Hubbard Park with Southern Tradition Wedneday Night

Shorewood's summer-long concert series continues Wednesday night with rockabilly, southern rock and outlaw/classic country music group Southern Tradition at , 3565 N. Morris Blvd.

The show starts at 6 p.m. and will be under a large tent just outside the Hubbard Park Lodge. Assorted food and beverages will still be sold; no carry-in alcohol is allowed.

Formed in 2008, Southern Tradition has always stayed true to its roots, playing quality country music, with outstanding vocals and harmonies, blistering guitar work, and a rock-solid freight train rhythm section, the band boasts on its website.

The group is the seventh act in , which features local bands every Wednesday until Aug. 29. The series includes free performances from jazz to blues, Irish to country, and every musical style in-between.
