A Shorewood Summer Tradition: Men's Club BBQ Set for Saturday

The grill will fire up for the BBQ, now in its 42nd year, in Atwater Park at 11:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Shorewood's longstanding tradition marking the coming of summer, the Men's Club BBQ, is slated for Saturday at Atwater Park.

The club will fire up the grill and serve up barbecue chicken dinners, and offer drinks, deserts and live music from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the park, intersection of North Lake Drive and East Capitol Drive. Organizers will also offer rib dinners on a limited basis for $12.

Dinner tickets can be purchased in advance from Shorewood Men’s Club members at a discounted rate.

In its 42nd year, the BBQ serves as the Men's Club’s largest fundraising event of the year. The club offers grants and scholarships to different community organizations in Shorewood throughout the year.
