HONOR ROLL

Brookfield Central remains atop the state girls soccer rankings; Menomonee Falls is invading the space normally reserved for traditional heavyweights and is at No. 4 with a 6-0-0 mark. Four of the 10 teams in the Division 1 poll are in the North Shore Conference and three more are from the Greater Metro Conference. And don't forget about Brookfield Academy, which moved into fourth in the Division 3 poll at 7-1-1.

Brookfield East's Katie Tolan is fifth on the state honor roll for the 400 meters at 59.68, though not a lot of outdoor times have been posted. Hamilton's girls posted the second-best 400 relay time so far at last week's Mukonwago Invite.

Among boys, James Stecker of Whitefish Bay ran 10.93 in the 100 meters at the Spartan Invitational last week and is third on the state honor roll. Teammates Davonte Johnson and Brandon Threats have the two fastest outdoor 200 times in the state so far, as reported to WisSports.net.
