On August 21, the girls tennis team played in the Zephyr Invite at St. Mary Central High School in Neenah. This was an eight-team invite including Lourdes Academy, Catholic Memorial, Appleton North, The Prairie School, Columbus Catholic, St. Mary Central, Two Rivers, and Shorewood. Many girls, playing both singles and doubles, took second, third and fifth places at the tournament. The entire team played very well and worked extremely hard, despite the 90-degree heat. Overall, Shorewood took 4th place at the invite.

Later that week, on Friday, August 23, the girls played at The Prairie School in Racine in a Quad match that included The Prairie School, St. Catherine's, and Catholic Memorial. The event was tough, but provided the girls with an opportunity to play against very talented players that will help prepare the team for the future.
