Shorewood Monarchs: No Lockouts, Just Football
Team is a member of the semi-pro Ironman Football League.
The Shorewood Monarchs are a member of the 10-team Ironman Football League, a semi-pro adult tackle football league. Some players participated in college at the Division I level, others had no football experience at all before joining the league. More common are those who played only in high school, or then at a small college.
On a recent sweltering Sunday, Patch visited the Monarchs game against the Wauwatosa Spartans to learn more about the people who play this game.
