Shorewood Girls Win 2 Events at Conference Relays

Greyhounds capture 3,200 and 1,600 relays.

The Shorewood High School girls track team won two events on Tuesday at the Woodland Conference Relays.

The 3,200 meter team of senior Jenny Vrobel, sophomore Haley Holand and freshmen Haley Florsheim and Kristin Malone won the event in 10:01.22. The foursome is working toward breaking a 22-year-old school record.

Also winning was the 1,600 relay team of Malone, junior Sydney Cross, junior Brigitte Sellinger and sophomore Alexis Farrington. Their time was 4:17.62.
