Patch vs. Patch: Baldwin Borough Manager Makes Super Bowl Bet with Shorewood, Wis.

The ο»Ώ's Borough Manager John M. Barrett sat down with the Baldwin-Whitehall Patch today, Feb. 2, to challenge the Shorewood, Wis., Patch to a Super Bowl bet.

Located just outside of Pittsburgh, Baldwin Borough is home to 20,000 Steelers fans, according to Barrett. Shorewood is a suburb of Milwaukee and is definitely Green Bay Packers territory.

Barrett is putting two dozen Eat'n Park Smiley Cookies from the restaurant chain's ο»ΏΒ on the line. Barrett, of course, is picking the Steelers to defeat the Packers in Super Bowl XLV this Sunday, Feb. 6. Should the Steelers lose, Barrett will send the cookies to Shorewood.

Barrett and the Baldwin-Whitehall Patch are now waiting to hear a response from Shorewood and to see what goodies that village has to offer once the Packers lose.
