Season Looking Up for Lady Greyhounds

Starting the year off 7-3 overall, 4-3 in the Woodland Conference, Shorewood hasn't lost two games in a row all season, and is on track to have its best season since 2005-2006 when it went 12-9.

The lady Greyhounds are on the verge of a big season.

Starting the year off 7-3 overall, 4-3 in the Woodland Conference, Shorewood hasn't lost two games in a row all season, and is on track to have its best season since 2005-2006 when it went 12-9.

In contrast, the Greyhounds finished last year 7-17 (3-9). Dating back to 2008, the team went winless for two seasons in a row. The Greyhounds are just one game behind conference leader Whitnall.

Edging out Wauwatosa West 37-34 before the holiday break, the Greyhounds will look to continue their success when they return to the court for an away game at St. Francis on Jan. 4. That game starts at 7:30 p.m.
