The lady Greyhounds are on the verge of a big season.

Starting the year off 7-3 overall, 4-3 in the Woodland Conference, Shorewood hasn't lost two games in a row all season, and is on track to have its best season since 2005-2006 when it went 12-9.

In contrast, the Greyhounds finished last year 7-17 (3-9). Dating back to 2008, the team went winless for two seasons in a row. The Greyhounds are just one game behind conference leader Whitnall.
