Showcase Displays Talent at Shorewood High School

Largely student directed talent show showcased musicians, dancers and comedians Friday and Saturday.

musicians, dancers and comedians performed Friday and Saturday at Showcase, a student-directed talent show that benefits AFS.

Through AFS, a foreign exchange student program, this year SHS is hosting Fiona Bucher from Switzerland and Ingrid Lind from Norway. Two SHS students are studying abroad this year, with Emma Bronson currently in Finland, and Grace Corry going to France in the spring.

While advised by Shorewood Drama Director Barbara Gensler, Showcase is unique in that it is largely run by student directors: Anne Guadagnino, Charlie Koczela, Lydia Hartlaub, Maja Ivanovic, Henry Kruger, Spencer Lipo Zovic, and Sophia Michels.
