Shorewood Schools Planning Meet and Greets for Director of Curriculum Candidates

Community meetings will take place Aug 27 and 28 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Shorewood Intermediate School Library. The director of curriculum will be responsible for curriculum development, analyzing data to support student growth, among other duties.

Shorewood school officials have chosen two candidates to direct the district's curriculum, instruction and pupil services office and have lined up community meetings allowing the public to weigh in on the finalists.

Meetings will be held Aug. 27 and 28 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Library, 3830 N. Morris Blvd.

Interested parents and residents can learn about the candidate’s background, listen to a discussion and then participate in an open question and answer session.

The new director of curriculum will be responsible for all aspects of curriculum development, instructional practices, professional learning, assessment, use of instructional technology and pupil services functions.
