School District to Hold Learning Fair

School officials will discuss the school district's curriculum.

Find out what the Shorewood School District is doing to educate your child at its learning fair 6 to 8 Tuesday night at , 3830 N. Morris Blvd.

School officials, including School Board members will be on hand to answer questions about the district’s curriculum.

Teachers and facility will discuss topics including the district’s literacy workshop model, adolescent literacy, student support services, integration of technology in the classroom, the district’s curriculum and New Horizons charter school.

“Topics for the fair have been chosen as a result of their significance to the children of Shorewood and are representative of some of the initiatives that teachers and administrators are implementing throughout the schools,” Dean Schultz, interim co-director of instruction said in a statement.

“Fairgoers” will learn about best practices that help students become skilled and talented adults.
