Jam with local blues-soul-funk-hip-hop quartet Tweed Funk and music students while supporting local schools March 10, at the Swing with Shorewood.
The ninth annual event, organized by SEED (Supporters of Excellence in Educational Development), will be held at Discovery World, 500 N. Harbor Dr. The venue, with great views of the lakefront and downtown, will come complete with dinner catered by Bartolotta’s.
Since 2004, Swing with Shorewood has raised nearly $585,000 to help teachers and schools implement new academic curriculum and safety programs, purchase new computers and other classroom equipment.
The event is $80 per person; interested parties must RSVP by Feb. 29.
