Rain Garden/Rain Barrel Workshop

Learn how you can collect and use rainwater to beautify your lawn and garden, save on watering costs, and help improve the quality of our lake and river. Reduce water pollution and lower your water costs by capturing water from your roof’s downspout in a rain barrel or into a rain garden.

These events are sponsored by the Shorewood Conservation Committee and the Shorewood DPW. The Shorewood Conservation Committee educates village government, businesses and residents of Shorewood on pertinent environmental issues and collaborates with them to implement new sustainable, healthy practices, policies and guidelines.
