What's Up This Week in Shorewood? Officials Vote on Wage Hike for Police Management

Officials consider wage hike for police management — Village officials could vote on a wage hike of 1 percent and increased contribution to pension and health care premiums for Shorewood police sergeants, lieutenants and other management employees within the department, when they meet 7:30 Monday night at , 3930 N. Murray Ave.
In addition, the Village Board could consider a salary raise for Shorewood Planning and Zoning Administrator Ericka Lang. According to the board agenda, officials would vote on a 6.28 percent wage increase for Lang.

Preps sports — The 1-1 (0-1) high school boys basketball team will host a match on Tuesday against New Berlin Eisenhower and travel to Wauwatosa West for a match on Friday. The 0-2 girls team will also play New Berlin Eisenhower on Tuesday, but for an away game, then come back home to clash with Wauwatosa West. All of the games start at 7:30 p.m. Home games are played at , 1701 E. Capitol Dr.
The Whitefish Bay-Nicolet-Shorewood combined hockey team has a couple matches this week: home games against Arrowhead on 5:30 Wednesday night and Catholic Memorial/Pius XI Friday night at 6:15. The Storm play at the Kern Center in downtown Milwaukee, 1245 N. Broadway St.

Breakfast with santa — The North Shore Kiwanis invites everyone to a fun-filled holiday pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at , 160 E. Silver Spring Dr. in Whitefish Bay. Kids have the chance to visit with Santa and have their faces painted, as well. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children and free for children under 2.
