Also on the docket this week, school officials will discuss next year’s budget and tax levy and an employee handbook when they meet Tuesday night for a regular board meeting. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday at , 1701 E. Capitol Dr.

Halloween in Shorewood

• Sunday, while neighboring communities, including Fox Point, Whitefish Bay and Glendale will start an hour earlier.
• But, if you're eager to fill you bag with candy you can find some of the , 3920 N. Murray Ave., Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. There will also be face painting, crafts and games. No registration is necessary and costumes are optional.
• Monday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., a community Halloween party geared toward elementary school kids will be held at , 1701 E. Capitol Dr. Activites include neon bowling, haunted hallways, crafts and other games. Those kids in attendance can put their name in a cauldron for a chance to win a portable DVD player. The evening will end with a grand costume parade for those who'd like to join. The event is hosted by the Shorewood Youth Center, Shorewood SEED and the Shorewood Recreation Department.
• in neighboring Whitefish Bay starts Thursday and runs until Halloween, from 6 to 9 p.m. each day. Activities include pumpkin lighting, pumpkin carving, live music and food from Pandl’s Whitefish Bay Inn and other local vendors.
