Shorewood students honor veterans

Friday is Veterans Day, and Shorewood schools will hold special assemblies both Thursday and Friday honoring veterans. United States Air Force veteran and School Board member, Rob Reinhoffer and his father Joe Reinhoffer are keynote speakers. Students are encouraged to donate $1 to honor a veteran with . Last year, students raised enough money to send six veterans. In addition, Student Council has organized a "penny war" and a collection was held this weekend at Pick ‘n Save.
