Village Complex Parking Lot Will Reopen Monday
The lot next to Shorewood Public Library will be resurfaced and upgraded with several "green" features.
The parking lot next to Shorewood Public Library and Village Hall was closed this week, but it will reopen Monday night.
The parking lot upgrades included several "green" features such as the addition of below-grade storm water storage, LED lighting upgrades and asphalt resurfacing. The "green" features were made possible by a green infrastructure grant from the Metropolitan Milwaukee Sewerage District.
Construction began on the parking lot began less than two weeks ago. The lot was closed off completely this week as construction crews re-did the surface of the lot.
