Shorewood Snapshot: Village, School Meetings; High School Sports

Here's a look at what's coming up this week in Shorewood. If we're missing something, please add it to the calendar.

Governmental and school meetings — The Village Board will meet Tuesday night at 7:30 for a regular meeting.

Shorewood's Public Art Committee meets Monday night at 7.

The Police Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Shorewood Police Department, 3936 N. Murray Ave.

And, the Shorewood Business Improvement District board meets 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

All committee and board, except for the Police Commission, meets at Village Hall, 3930 N. Murray Ave. Find the agendas for each meetings on the village's website.

The Shorewood School District's Policy Committee will meet Tuesday morning at 8:30 to review and discuss School Board policy, at the high school conference room, 1701 E. Capitol Dr.

Preps sports — The Messmer/Shorewood football has a chance to capture its fifth win of the season and stay perfect Friday when it hosts Lake Country Lutheran. The game starts at 7 p.m.

Shorewood's boys soccer team will travel to Pewaukee on Monday and host New Berlin West on Wednesday. Both games start at 6:30 p.m.

The girls tennis team has matches Tuesday and Thursday at 4 p.m.

The girls swimming team has a conference relay on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

And, the boys volleyball team has an away game on Wednesday against Greendale and the girls volleyball team a home game against South Milwaukee.

All home games are played at Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Dr.
