Shorewood Snapshot: Election Day; Author at Library

Here's a look at what's coming up this week in Shorewood. If we're missing something, please add it to the calendar.

Election Day — Tuesday is of course Election Day and there are several races on the ballot including the Presidential race, 4th Congressional and 4th state Senate race, and U.S. Senate race, among others.

Author at library — John Flanagan, author of the Ranger's Apprentice will introduce his newest book The Brotherband Chronicles — The Hunter at the Shorewood Public Library, 3920 N. Murray Ave., Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Books will be available for purchase. There will also be a drawing to win a copy of the new book. The event is co-sponsored by Shorewood Public Library and Boswell Book Company.

Governmental meetings — The Village Board convenes Monday night at 7:30 for a regular meeting.

The village's Community Development Authority meets at 7:30 a.m. on Friday.
