Pasch Wins Shorewood with 85 Percent of Vote

Despite early reports, voter turnout in Shorewood was very healthy at nearly 42 percent.

Democratic candidate Sandy Pasch (D-Whitefish Bay) won Shorewood over "fake" Democrat challenger Gladys Huber with an overwhelming 85 percent of the vote.

According to unofficial results from Shorewood's Village Clerk office at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Pasch garnered 3,361 votes, to Huber's 553 votes. Despite earlier reports, nearly 42 percent of voters registered for this election cast their ballot Tuesday.

Huber and Pasch squared off in a primary recall election to challenge incumbent Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) for her 8th Senate District seat. The recall election will be held Aug. 9.
