Election Preview: Wisconsin 10th State Assembly District

Democrat Sandy Pasch is unopposed in general election for newly drawn Assembly seat

Incumbent Democrat Sandy Pasch is facing no opposition in her bid for the 10th State Assembly District seat on the Nov. 6 ballot.

Pasch has served in the State Assembly since 2009, in the 22nd District. She is currently Assistant Assembly Democratic Leader and chair of the Milwaukee Democratic Legislative Caucus. She is a nurse.

Pasch defeated several other Democratic candidates in the primary for the 10th District seat, which was vacated by state Rep. Elizabeth Coggs, who decided to run for State Senate. Pasch ran for the 10th District after Republicans changed her old district's boundaries, making it more conservative. Pasch previously lost a heated recall battle against State Sen. Alberta Darling.
