Cornerstone Developers May Bring Another Mixed-Use Property to Shorewood

BizTimes.com is reporting WiRED Properties has been selected by the village to develop another building similar to the Cornerstone.

Another mixed-use development could be coming to Shorewood with construction beginning within three months, BizTimes.com is reporting.

WiRED Properties, the same firm that developed the Cornerstone, has gained some preliminary financial commitments to build the “Ravenna,” a four stories tall building with 22 apartments and 7,500 square feet of retail space on a 0.55-acre vacant lot in the 4500 block of Oakland Avenue.

Village officials selected the firm to develop the site after a request for proposals from developers.
