10th Assembly Candidate Forum Slated for Monday at Shorewood Library

Marking two weeks until the primary, Grassroots Northshore will hold a forum Monday. Rep. Sandy Pasch and resident Millie Coby have confirmed their attendance.

Grassroots Shorewood will host a candidate’s forum Monday night at the .

, Millie Coby of Shorewood, Ieshuh Griffin of Milwaukee and Harriet Callier of Milwaukee are Democrats vying for the 10th Assembly District seat. Monday will mark about two weeks until the four square off in a Democratic Primary Aug. 14, and with no Republican on the ballot, the winner earns the seat.

The event starts in the library's public room, 3920 N. Murray Ave., at 6 p.m.

Callier and Griffin have yet to confirm their attendance at the forum.

The fact that she fought to have those words to appear on the ballot is reason enough to hold it against her. The racial component contained in those words makes me doubt that she is interested in representing everyone in the district...

Wow, given the choices available on the Democratic side, a moderate Republican might just stand a shot in this race, should one declare.
