Yoga Studio Targeted in Weekend Burglary

Police are still gathering details on items stolen from a North Oakland Avenue yoga over the weekend, but say the burglary isn't connected to the nine the village had experienced over the last few weeks.

Police say the door to a local yoga studio was pried open and the business burglarized sometime over the weekend.

The owner of CYGA Yoga reported that sometime between 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and 7:25 a.m. on Sunday the business at 3575 N. Oakland Ave. was illegally entered and property taken from its business office.

An exterior door was unlocked but an interior door was forced open to gain entry.
