Water Main Break at North Woodruff, East Glendale

Department of Public Works staff are working on a water main break that happened late last night and turned East Glendale Avenue to turn into a roaring river.

The river of water roaring west down East Glendale Avenue is due to a water main break that happened late last night Shorewood police say.

The area starting at North Woodruff Avenue and extending to North Wilson Drive is cordoned off with police tape while Department of Public Works staff are working on a fix.

Shorewood resident Kim Grady that lives nearby said, “I can hear the water rushing by.”
