Three Thefts From Vehicles Last Week

GPS devices and a car stereo were stolen from unlocked cars on the west end of Shorewood.

Thefts from vehicles are on the rise, with three reported last week in Shorewood and six reported in Whitefish Bay.

The three thefts in Shorewood occurred on the west end of the village:

  • A GPS navigation device was stolen from an unlocked car parked behind an apartment building in the 1300 block of Capitol Drive sometime between 8 p.m. on July 9 and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
  • A GPS navigation device was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 4300 block of Marlborough Drive sometime between 10 p.m. on July 9 and 7:20 a.m. Wednesday.
  • A Pioneer radio/CD player was stolen from an unlocked car in the 4400 block of Wildwood Avenue sometime between 8:30 p.m. July 9 and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
