Three Burglaries Last Week in Shorewood

Three burglaries were reported last week in Shorewood:

  • An estimated $3,200 worth of cameras, computers and other electronics were stolen from a home in the 4500 block of Bartlett Avenue between 8:05 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The thief, who has not been caught, is believed to have entered the home by opening a window screen and climbing through the window.
  • An estimated $2,100 in property – including a MacBook computer, XBox controller and duffel bag – were stolen from a home in the 3800 block fo Morris Boulevard between 9:45 a.m. and 5:10 p.m. on Sept. 11. The burglar removed a window screen and went through a front window. 
  • A bicycle, laptop computer and Timbuktu messenger bag were stolen from a home in the 4400 block of Lake Drive between 6:50 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 9. The burglar entered through an unlocked side door.
