Teen Charged With Stealing From Person in Shorewood

Suspect allegedly stole two pairs of expensive sunglasses among other things.

A Milwaukee teenager is facing charges after he allegedly stole several items from a person in Shorewood.

Dominick Parrish Cole, 17, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with one count of theft. If convicted, he could face up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

The victim discovered Jan. 3 that multiple items had been stolen from her while she was in the 2200 block of East Edgewood Avenue. It was later determined Cole stole the items.

The items stolen included a credit card, two bank cards, a $300 pair of sunglasses, a $200 pair of sunglasses and an iPod auxiliary cord. The total value of the stolen items are valued at $640.

The victim has since gotten all but the iPod cord back. Cole is currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail.
