Fifteen minutes later, he returned to the pharmacy and quickly walked to the back of the store with his hands in his pocket. The complaint alleges he then pulled out a silver handgun, told two employees to get down on the ground, and placed them in handcuffs.

He then reportedly asked where the pharmacy stored its Oxycodone and grabbed multiple bottles and placed them into a garbage bag he had pulled from a trash canister and also reportedly grabbed cash from the register.

Employees told investigators Lee grabbed bottles containing 3,200 Oxycodone tablets and $500 in cash.

Suspicious car leads police to suspect

In March, Lee is accused of robbing three other pharmacies, including Swan Serv-u Pharmacy in Wauwatosa and an Aurora Pharmacy and Wilkes Village Pharmacy in Milwaukee.

On March 31, investigators say Lee walked into the Wilkes Pharmacy wearing a black mask and pointed a handgun at employees, told them to get on the ground and demanded Oxycodone.

Employees told authorities they were handcuffed and Lee was working with a partner. Another witness at the Wilkes Pharmacy robbery provided investigators with the license plate of a sports car parked in near the pharmacy during the robbery that seemed suspicious. Investigators ran the plates and discovered it was an Enterprise car, rented by a man named Dennie Lee, later determined to be an alias for Lee.

Later that same day, Lee was pulled over by Milwaukee police, and surgical masks and a box of .44 caliber ammunition were found in his car. Then, police executed a search warrant on Lee's residence, and found two handguns including a large silver revolver, and a four sets of handcuffs. Police also found numerous bottles of prescription pills, later found to have come from Wilkes Village Pharmacy.

Police say Lee's fingerprints match those lifted off a demand note found at the scene of the Wauwatosa Pharmacy robbery.
