Stolen Vehicle Recovered Same Day

A 2009 Honda Civic 4-door was stolen from a garage in the 4500 block of North Marlborough Drive Friday but found later that same afternoon in a place police called notorious for dumping stolen vehicles.

A side door to an unlocked garage was entered and vehicle stolen using a spare key left inside, sometime over night on Friday. A Shorewood detective checked the East Singer Circle area in Milwaukee for the vehicle and found it abandoned around 3 p.m. The Civic was not damaged and police have no leads on who stole it.
