Shorewood, Whitefish Bay Men Arrested for Drunken Driving after Car Accidents
A 53-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for his second OWI after crashing into a parked truck.
After crashing his red Volkswagen into a parked truck in the 3700 block of North Morris Boulevard Tuesday, a 53-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, his second such offense.
Police say the man was slurring his speech and smelled of alcohol when they arrived on scene.Β Witnesses told police the man was driving without headlights and swerving over the median. Police are still waiting on results of a blood test to determine the manβs blood alcohol content.
Sunday, police followed a trail of tire pieces to a 39-year-old Whitefish Bay man on the side of the Estabrook Parkway, in a Mazda mini-van, short a tire.

He was later arrested for operating while intoxicated, his first offense, after failing a sobriety test. Police determined his blood alcohol content to be .21 after a breath test. Β
