Shorewood Teenager Among Two Arrested for Burglary in Whitefish Bay

Homeowner came home to find two boys leaving their home with two watches, a credit card and $20 in change.

A 14-year-old Shorewood boy and a 14-year-old Milwaukee boy were arrested Friday night after they were caught stealing from a home on the 5000 block of North Elkhart Avenue.

The residents reported arriving home at about 5:45 p.m., when they saw the two boys flee through the back door, run through their backyard and into their neighbor’s yard.

The stolen property – two watches, credit cards and $20 in change – was later recovered when Shorewood police arrested the boys. The boys were transported to the Milwaukee Children’s Court Center.
